We are going to be having some fun events for this campaign and we are looking for folks to help staff them. We also need people to make phone calls and work the polls on election day. And people that are willing to help out with the many random tasks of running a campaign are especially welcome. While you’re at it, let us know what issues are most important to you. I chose to study Public Policy and Public Health and both disciplines and my 25 years of career choices have given me the tools to understand the best way to serve others and help the citizens of Buncombe County.
A leader goes the way
I have dedicated my life to serving others. Whether as a missionary, as a public health worker, or, in recent years, as an executive director and as an elected official, I have been engaged in service.
A leader shows the way
I want to share my vision for ways that all of us in Buncombe County can address and solve the issues of job creation, income disparity, food insecurity, sustainability, equality, and access to affordable housing.
